Da Nang River Retreat started with a simple frustration: too many short-term rentals in Đà Nẵng are managed remotely by people who have never set foot in the building.

We're a small Đà Nẵng-based team. We grew up around the Hàn River and the Sơn Trà peninsula, and we've spent years working with expats, digital nomads, and long-stay travelers — first as friends, then as hosts. Every property in our portfolio is one we've personally inspected, furnished, and continue to manage on the ground.

That means a few things in practice: we know which units have actually fast wifi (and which buildings just claim to). We know which neighborhoods stay quiet on weekends. We've already vetted the cleaners, the scooter rental shops, and the doctor down the street who speaks English. When something breaks at 11pm, you message a real person — and someone shows up the next morning.

What we believe

Long stays are different from hotel stays. A two-week guest needs counter space, a real desk chair, and a washing machine. We design every unit with that in mind.

Local hospitality matters. We don't outsource guest support. The person who replies to your message is the same person who'll meet you at the door.

Small is better. We deliberately keep our portfolio small enough to know every unit by heart. We'd rather manage twenty homes well than two hundred badly.
